To feel nothing beyond this cast is to have no body at all, which extinguishes the cast, which discredits the entire phrase. To feel nothing beyond the cast, you would have to destroy the cast, implode. To win, you have to lose. Or is numbess just the matter of a serum, of the brain seeing only its own reflection of oblivion, which is your own self, and dying from what you see. Nothingness. Absence. And all that lacks in existence. Existence, after all, is not a predicate.
